Lawn areas are maintained for outdoor games and garden space is available for vegetable plots. New in 2004 is a free heated swimming pool.
ONE HUNDRED SITES with electric and water hookups, picnic tables and fireplaces are scattered among the pines, overlooking the water or bordering open field-all offering a maximum of privacy while maintaining a congenial camping atmosphere.
Holding tank PUMPOUT SERVICE is performed on a regular basis at minimal cost.
This area is designed for ADULTS OF ALL AGES - honeymooners to retired persons, including those family campers who may desire a temporary break from the children. It will have an especial appeal to artists, bird watchers, camera enthusiasts -- to all those who love nature.
The emphasis in the operation of POTTER'S PLACE is toward the aesthetic-the development of nature trails, conservation of plant and wildlife, expansion of floral gardens, etc - while at the same time, maintaining the old New England agricultural motif.
